Disappointed

Good features on the app. Very disappointed that you still have to buy an online subscription even if you have a print subscription.

Unbelievable

Unlike the American version, Readers Digest Canada has not made the digital version available to print subscribers. For an additional $20/yr I can access my magazine online. Very disappointing.

Disappointed

I was very much looking forward to transferring my print subscription over to the iPad subscription only to sadly discover I wasnt able to! RD is by far my favorite Canadian magazine and I certainly hope that this feature will soon be available as I will not buy both and I just recently renewed my print subscription for the year!

Really disappointed to see you have to buy an additional subscription for ipad, even when you have the paper magazine. Most magazines let you use your subscription number to get free downloads on ipad. Get with the times RD>

RD Canada is a great publication. I just LOVE those cartoons drawn by Mike Cope :)

Very disappointed!!!

Could not believe that I could not get this "free" when I already pay for the printed version! Love RD and would truly love to have access on iPad given I always have it with me and you never know when you want a little RD pick me up!!

Good, but.....

The preview issue looked great, but I am certainly not willing to fork out $20 for the iPad version when I get the paper copy already.

Im still waiting for this wonderful magazine to take advantage of the wonderful canvas that is on the New iPad. PLEASE! Reading this app is painful on such a beautiful display. Text is so blurry that I decided to give up and discontinued my subscription until they rectify this issue. Though, at this point them being so late with update I wonder and ask myself whether or not such an update will even come in the future.

Joke!!!!!!! Print subscribers can get 6 months free. Wrong!!!!!!! When I put in my valid information it says it cant find an active account. Really!!! On the same day I got my printed mag. Upset enough to cancel all of the magazines under the RD umbrella. Called support "customer care" or careless with no empathy at all. Promised to call back and nothing..... Dont waste your time.

Nothing but trouble

I have tried to activate my subscription a number of times. Each attempt results in "activation failed". Previous attempts kept saying "invalid account number" even though I copied it directly from my subscription label. Still cannot read my free subscription. Horrible registration process.

I lost my subscription

I subscribed to readers digest iPad version since January. At that time it was the US version. I bought a new iPad in July and found out I am forced to read the Canadian version. Fine. I live in Canada anyway. Tried to restore purchase, wont let me download the new July issue for free. Contacted readers digest. They cant solve this problem. So I paid for 12 months can only get 6 issues. They wont refund me.

Where is my subscription!!!

I purchased a 1 year subscription in December 2011 and cant seem to find it on the updated app. Can you help me or did I only get a 7 month 1 year subscription? Not too impressed!

What Newer Version?

I love having RD on my iPad but last month I couldnt download the issue because it says a newer version of the app is required and I can get it from the App Store, well I cant find a newer version and now have two issues I cant download. Why cant you do an automatic update like everyone else?

Unhappy

I am very unhappy that we are forced to red the Canadian version when the other US version is FAR superior and exponentially more interesting in content. It would have been nice to know that we would not get our full year subscription to the other version because now I have paid for something which I now cannot access. At least letting subscribers finish out the subscription would be more acceptable. Whatever happened to consumer choice?

Subscriptions and apps

I rate this as a one star. You only get 6 months free. All the other magazine subscriptions that I receive, i also get their free app. Imagine that a free app along with your subscription.

Not working

I paid for the subscription,but the dec issue is not opening ,it shows me to open it and its nothing there ,not happy with it at all

Cant sign in as a paid subscriber. No one there knows what to do. Lets get our act together!

Unable to View in Landscape Mode??

Please allow this magazine to be viewed in Landscape. My ipad holder/stand only holds my iPad in Landscape view. I would buy a yearly subscription of RD if I was able to read it in landscape mode.

Crash!

Crashes to springboard as soon as it loads on ios 6.1.2 Waste of time.
